Well what a weekend! I felt really lucky to be entertaining the children at a School on the Wirral on Friday. The staff had asked me to provide the entertainment with a magic and puppet show. This was to thank the children for being so supportive and kind to Nancie
Nancie is a pupil at the school who was diagnosed with Luekemia two years ago and has since gone on to make a full recovery.
Before the magic shows started, the teachers had put together a short film. The film showing the treatment and the fundraising Nancie has done for charity. It struck me that this very special little girl was smiling on every picture. The School made me feel very welcome and I felt honoured to be part of this event. Nancie is absolutely lovely and looked totally unaffected by everything she had gone through. A very brave little girl indeed.
On Saturday I had a rare day off and made the most of it by travelling up to Kirkby Lonsdale for the Christmas Market and to catch up with friends.
On Sunday I entertained the children and adults at Poppy’s 5th Birthday party and then over to Accrington for Rose’s 7th Birthday party. Absolutely lovely children and parents at these parties and I drove home with sweets and birthday cake. Thank you everyone.
